In one of my edits I took out the phrase "take that, ChatGPT!" Because writing from association, writing from conversation, writing from shared interests comes from enjoying being interested!
PS. Only negative of IRL meetings, I am reminded I'm short!
"Everyone should go back to the places where their wrinkles and responsibilities fall away, and they are twenty once again." I was a "second-year novice" at 20 in my third year of preparation for vows as a nun! What memories. I gained dozens of wonderful mentoring wise women.
This one resonated with me Karena. I left home for London in my twenties and it was real eye-opener. Changed my life and I could do with revisiting to help with some of the wrinkles and responsibilities :)
“We are always young in someone’s eyes” - this is so true.
And today we’re as young as we’ll ever be. So we might as well enjoy it!
It is a privilege to be able to write that statement, and know that I have people in my life who have loved me that long, Randy!
Wishing the same for you.
Love these awesome photos Karena, and your observation of how superior real-life contact is with friends.

. . . thank goodness there's inner stature!
You know just the right words, Rick!
I have something less prosaic an observation to offer.
It was bloody fun meeting up!
And you forgot to mention that you take great group selfie. I've never looked so good!
It was definitely ‘funner’ meeting IRL ! Look forward to creating more fun times with you on Futuregazing!
Same here Geeta. You are putting a lof of focus into Futuregazing, and I'm sure it is going to positively influence many teens.
I loved this final phrase "we each need to live our own lives, embrace our own life journey and grow into our own brand of wisdom".
As a parent guiding her daughters to follow their own paths, and trying hard to trust that they will be OK, this all resonated with me!
I hear you, Ilona.

Reverse Time travel is such a treat! And the stories you can tell, Joann.
I am pleased that you are one of the wise mentoring women I continue to gather around me.

Ha! Reverse journey.
I +1 that. Not only does it help with wrinkles, but also with humility at realizing how much I didn't know!
