I would like to see the Flora Project first hand when I come to visit you next week Karena. Really some inspiring work. In a world where everyone just talks about these global agendas, I love seeing these local initiatives. This is what translates into results on the ground. I am a firm believer that we need to incubate these local initiatives...
Same to you and your family, Sairam. Watching this youbger generation lean into solving problems while inspiring others I have faith in a better future for us all. But we have to act. Each and every one of us.
So glad you showcased Ishan’s essay on narrowing down to the essence of something to unleash creativity.
I see that same narrowing down in the way you and your son have been helping create The Pringle. I enjoyed reading how your creativity is transforming communities.
Kathy! You should have seen him work. There is a master canoe builder working on the plot just by the side, carving a canoe out of a single trunk mango tree (a work of art). He commented that he had not seen someone work that consistently and hard. Andrew's hands are blistered from crushing blocks of stone into rubble, splitting bamboo and tying tight the soaked coconut coir that binds the structure. But you should see his smile and pride and love in using tools that have been in our family for generations. He has earned the "environmental" and "engineering" parts of his degree!

We are looking forward to it, Ishan! I hope you are ready to visit some schools.
Keen on it :)
Ishan is an amazing kid! So proud to know him and very glad you featured him here, Karena. Happy holidays!
Agreed!
You were always cool Rick!
You are very kind Sairam. Thank you so much.

Very kind of you to say Eric! Hope all is well at your end!
What a gift, Karena. Reading this brightened my day. And I love that you featured Ishan!
Thank you Alissa. Ishan, like you, was one of our Tribe Tilt who generously offered to share his essays on my newsletter.
It greatly reduced the pressure to write fresh copy knowing I had his essay pre-loaded while preping in Canada.
:)
What a fantastic and inspiring project! Well done and congratulations to everyone who participated.

I can picture Andrew thriving at this project Karena. It must be very gratifying for you too. xo
So great, Karena!
Loved this little nuggets too:
I should write more. I will write more. Now to bed.

It's been a challenging week! Thanks for our little tete-a-tete via email that helped me pick the most appropriate guest essay for this week, Emma.
