So much to chew over here, what a wonderful, well thought out look at the next 100+ years. I hadn’t even considered how we’re straddling two different eras but this is making me think differently about how to skill build and plan for the future. So much of this resonated, when I think of my own college experience, it’s crazy to realize how little I knew about the way technology would continue to shape the world. Great read Karena!

I wonder how historians will describe our 2020's technology and society a hundred years from now. Unlike you, I'm not optimistic people will live to 100 - a lot of health and longevity hinges on a strong spirit and on a strong social support fabric and neither of these are a mainstream reality for us today. But I do agree that the best thing we can do is "enjoy the ride" rather than waiting for the roller coaster to come to a standstill and things to become predictable again. Like you wisely pointed out, that ain't happening in our lifetime!
