If the world changed so drastically for Covid, where the global death toll was about 15 million, why can't we change our ways for the environment where Billions of people are at risk. I believe the do-nothing scenario will result in 3 billion deaths by the end of the century from flooding and overheating.

I haven't yet read them all, but just finished the seaweed farming article and loved it. I will read the rest one at a time.

I subscribed to the seaweed newsletter, wanted to leave her comments but didn't find a space for it. I enjoyed reading it. It was not too long, good use of pictures and very informative. I like to try the seaweed smoothies.

Yes, I too had trouble leaving a well deserved comment on the newsletters hosted on Ghost. But I left Beck a twitter message about your wonderful comment above, Banafsheh.

The entire seaweed cuisine area is intriguing to me as it is so rich in nutrients, and serves as an underwater regenerative ecosystem.

Ishan - read Ricky's comment in this thread. And if you have not already been introduced, meet Malaika Vaz. Sounds like you both share similar passions!

Your generation will be living through the transition - towards a more sustainable world I hope, Ishan.

"Bias towards action" ... I'm going to add that to my list of phrases to use!

Deep, insightful and well researched with a definite plan and call to action. Well done K, as always. A good piece, well worth waiting the extra 2 days for ;-) ... I was looking for it in my email. Thanx again ... Well done.

No apologies necessary. That's fine... It got posted... You write some nice stuff. Worth sharing....

Yes. Saw his Photos. Very nice. BTW, we have one of our own Saligao young gals into much the same stuff. From Salmona. Mac Vaz's daughter. The PVV Group son. Live in what used to earlier be Tommy Emar's house. Near my aunt's place in Salmona.

Thanks for reminding me about Malaika, Ricky. I'd met her when she was very young - in 2011! I'll save this essay for a future sustainability compilation.
