Uncle Tony? It's gotta be him..... no one else i know is all of that you've mentioned..Condolences to all. I'm so.out of things that I seem to have missed it entirely. I knew him very well. Was a part of my growing up.in Saligao too. And as an (ex) mechanical engineer and car affocianado myself we always had lotta stuff in common. Yes he was a very lovely guy. Lived a great full life on his own terms. Wishes to all from me. He'll be missed.
Yes, it's Uncle Tony. I am glad that you ,too, have wonderful memories of him. Typical! He touched so many lives. He did indeed live a full life on his own terms. I will pass along your condolences to our family. Thank you, Ricky.
Condolences to you on the loss of your dear Uncle Fix-It, Karena. What a lovely tribute to him. Your memories demonstrate that he gave the best of himself to you all in his time here. May they be of comfort to you during this time.
Thank you, Dekera. Your beautiful tribute to your cousin inspired part of my essay. Thank you for taking the time to offer me suggestions and edits on this post. I now have another guardian angel up in heaven.
Thanks, Alexandra. He is a beautiful soul. 500 words do not give space for how special he was to me. The biggest gift was the unquestioning, unconditional love. A constant in my life.
Thinking of you and your family, Karena. This was such a heart-warming read. I am so grateful to have subscribed to your newsletter and to read about a man who clearly had such an impact in shaping your kind and authentic voice.
It was particularly soothing to read your comment, Nic. I still walk that tightrope between personal and professional. I was a bit wary in this newsletter, as it is going out to more than my immediate family (my original subscriber list). Thank you for letting me share my uncle with you, and for taking the time to let me know.
A beautiful tribute, Karena. So sorry for your loss. Thanks you for sharing his story. I enjoyed learning about the impact he had on your life and how these life lessons will live on. You’re writing is very inspiring! 💕
Thanks, Kelly. I think those of us who are able to influence young minds have an opportunity to let them know that distractions and notifications can get in the way of life and living.
My deepest sympathies. Thank you for sharing your uncle's stories with us. <3
Thank you, Christin. He is/was a wonderful man. I am honoured to have been loved so dearly by him. And love him back.
