That's epic to see you with your kids in front of the pyramid. Can't think of my effective parenting than facilitating exposure to the world while keeping them close.
Thanks, Rick. This journey was very reminiscent for me. When I was young, I remember my Dad taking me to see the pyramids as we journeyed between Uganda and India. This was a must-do compnent of our "Ancient Civilizations" syllabus.
I love the series of photos that followed your "brick by brick" analogies. It's amazing to see you've built this newsletter issue-by-issue to 102. It really does take one article at a time.
This is such a special comment to receive, Kathleen. When we first bumped into each other, I had great intentions, but little process. I am learning do much from you as a journalist
I watch your steady progress too, #TwinzTalk. I think you are edging to 1100? It seems daunting to follow in those footsteps, until you realize everyone starts with one, then two, then three!
Thank you, Joann. As I reflected on my journey to 100, trying to analyze what was different this time around, this is one of the wisdoms that appears to have made a difference for me.

I can also see the difference in the way I frame photos now!
I loved this post, Karena. And I have so loved watching your growth as a writer. Love you. xoxo

“Start with your one brick...”
LOVE this, Karena. In all we do, keep it simple. And keep moving!

Love the photos, the thinking, the wisdom here, Karena!

Thanks for the shout-out! We are definitely guilty of trying to write everything about a subject instead of a small, memorable piece!
Thank you for playing along, Catherine! That photo often stumps others! I think it is the angle.
As for your content - I think you do a great job of keeping it simple and focused with small actionable learning in each newsletter.
I love this so much! Thank you Karena for your encouragement to keep writing, keep putting my ideas out there. I need this reminder everyday!
Thank you, Julie. I'm glad it provides some inspiration!
