Great read, Karena! Love how the photos bring the messages to life in another dimension. And so glad my question prompted a valuable insight. That’s what’s so great about sharing our thoughts, we snowball off of each other. :)

And of course thank you @Alexandra for providing the prompt! 😃

I think your postcard started me down this path of writing about those lyrics, @leo. Didn't take much to get me started however!

What was an anomaly was that I actually got back to playing the piano with this Finneas song. Never felt so compelled before. (Still working on it, as it is quite challenging for someone so out of practice).

My dad gifted me Derek's books for Christmas and it was easily the best gift I got. Have you read them all?

"Trust me, I was bright red once my kids clued me in." 🤣

It's so fun how some people naturally gravitate towards paying more attention first to either the lyrics of a song or the music!

Also, thank you for sharing that link to buy the Sivers books!! Just snagged them.

Cannot tell you the number of times this happened Sandra! Many rap songs have great beats and seductive melodies. Now I try and find a translation for the Korean, Japanese songs that I am bopping to just to make sure I'm not caught in the same situation!

I've liked little snippets of his, John. I recall Jen Vermet writing an essay on the impact of How to Live. So I think his worldly wisdom works as great gifts for those forming their own mind on how they want to live their lives. NO was my word of 2022 - so that I could do Hell Yeah in a few dedicated spaces.

Nice one. Love change. We as a generation have seen so much of it in our lifetimes.... I'd never have thought it'd be possible. But Yeah - it's been good and we've adapted and adopted - the new ways. I remember the days I was studying mechanical engineering at a college in Goa (India) and my cousins in the UK were into Computer studies etc... Yeah, I am THAT old...! We didn't have any of that here - and I always wondered what it'd be like. Got a shot at it in the late 80s and never looked back since... I work with an IT Company now and we provide custom solutions to clients across the globe... Change. A great thing. I always tell the younger Gen. Accept it, see what fits you and what doesn't and adopt the ones you can use.
