I think a visit to the Galapagos would definitely be our kind of vacation. In fact, we haven’t been to South America at all yet, something that we should definitely rectify. Perhaps a visit to the Galapagos, then down to Patagonian, then a flight to Antarctica and back (we get too seasick to make the crossing by ship), and then return to the US via Argentina and Brazil. Gotta think big!
I'll DM you the name of our travel company that does a lot of SAmerica, and a Friends&Family code they have created for us to share. They were very well organized, worked with us on our parameters, and were available all through the trip.
"He's not afraid of failure and values the process of growth over the outcome." Karena, you make traveling, learning, and aging sound exciting and adventurous! I've learned and been inspired by your 110-year-old tortoise! Thank you! Wonderful photos and videos!
Loved this issue, you can probably guess why. Kudos Karena :)
I'm going to take you up on your Galapagos itinerary when the time arises!
Your only question will be "how much memory/rolls of film do I take along?"
I don't know if I'm in the third or fourth quarter but at least I'm not in the "sudden death" part (I hope!)
Yes, I do look at my older family members to get an idea of what my health *might* be like. But we can never know, can we?
I remember watching my mother this time last year, and realizing how much I needed to improve my upper body strength!
Have you been to the Galapagos, Scott? Is it your kind of vacation? Your safari photos make me feel like it would be a big yes!
