Trust - something we don't talk about enough in the social x creative process!

I think trust is the multiplier, Vicky. When we discuss our ideas with others, trust expands the idea in our head, exploding the possibilities.

You remain one of the people I trust. One very timely conversation with you, when my son was exploring an alternate path, rescued the relationship I have with him. Your words repositioned my role in that instance, permissioning me to be his 'encourager' over his 'advisor'.

trust expands the idea in our head - hmmmmmm never thought about it that way. Ideas are at times fragile at times stubborn. Takes the right kind of unconditional trust to see what it needs. You've been that for me too Karena!!!

I love the brain trust concept. It seems as though the need for a Brain Trust is what is moving many toward AI, tempting some to lean heavily on it to refine their thinking. Perhaps a Heart Trust better represents the community aspect you're describing, where we're truly seen in our humanity and encouraged and guided toward expressing it.

I see influences of James Bailey in this answer, Rick!

I was steering toward 'brain' trust as I really relish the intellectual push back I get from sparring sessions with others - it makes my work stronger. It extends past surface community relationships that can be transactional. Intellectual challenge, where the heart (and gut) trusts the strength of the relationship and instinctively knows that a rising tide raises all ships.

But I can see I still need to play with wording and various collective nouns. There is so much opportunity! (And maybe a project I give to AI?!)

I guess what I meant is that AI can probably be of great assistance to say something that sounds smart, informed, global, or wide in perspective. But a human who knows and loves you is going to be able to assist you to say what is most important to you, what brings you to life—thus the heart trust—and why we should build communities that transcend technology, which I completely agree with! : )

You know yourself so well. The 3 reasons for joining Second Act were so on point. Surely, you'll have a lot of fun. A little jealous here.

DPK, come join the session on Tuesday if the timing works for you. Linart also posted an offer to coordinate a session at friendlier time for APAC if that helps.

As for knowing myself .... wisdom! Hard won. And I am now of an age where I can laugh at the fact that I can stan Will and also become a K-pop fan. I see it as 'Always Be Learning'!

Thanks, Claire. They are photos from our trip 20 years ago, and I feel the weight of the subsequent years. I thought I was "old" then. Oh, did I discover something! You would enjoy Act2, so next time for sure!

I'm neither a parent, nor an elder Karena

But I understand building a community model for future generations.

I wrote out a 10 yr vision for a community science model because it's what I wish I had growing up.
