It was the right level of alert at this moment when the world seems immensely open and possible. We should try our hand and take our chances, but not at the expense of what we already own, or the privacy of those we serve.

This was a dose of common sense. Thank you for writing it!!

I am happy to share her insights and observations. Those who are already cautious will be put off if there are data or privacy breaches as more people try vibe coding. So it helps all of us.

When Google Maps first came out, there were times its calibration was off by 1/4 mile. And it asked me to drive in Lake Ontario. It is a good thing I understood the rudiments of map reading, where the highway was and which side of the road I should drive on. That was my equivalent of what Rose is suggesting we do when we vibe code - understand the fundamentals so that we can do a reasonability test against them.
